FAMILY LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

My ward has been in the care of Tomorrow's Hope for many years, first in the group home setting and more recently in the residential habilitation setting. She has always received excellent care and her well-being is always the first priority. I am kept informed of what is happening in her life and am involved in her annual planning meeting, so I'm kept aware of her needs in all aspects of her life and how they are being addressed. Staff at Tomorrow's Hope have always been professional, courteous, informative in our communication, and willing to answer any questions I have. I am very grateful for Tomorrow's Hope and their care.

We were fortunate to have been able to create such an amazing relationship with Tomorrow's Hope — my son's 2nd family, just ask him! Ask me as well. Tomorrow's Hope was there to not only help with life skills, how to cope with unexpected feelings, anger, social issues, confusion, but the ability to voice those emotions. Not only for him, but for everyone within our circle.

My son would never have reached such amazing heights without the support from all of these blessed souls we have been blessed with. I can't help it, but my son legitimately graduated from high school! It took him a few more years, but that young man did it, and on his own! The first in his generation.

There's no way that we can do everything on our own. Not if we want to be emotionally stable in the future. They need us, we need them, our support groups, all of anyone. Tomorrow's Hope gave us the ability to be parents, siblings, aunts and uncles. To be able to breathe when we don't think we can anymore. What was the most difficult, painful, heart-wrenching decision for me was the best decision I have ever made.

Thank You,

-Grateful Parent

My son lives in a home run by Tomorrow's Hope, and I wanted to write a quick letter of recommendation for your facility. My son loves his home and is very comfortable there. That gives his father and I great peace of mind.

We really like the new setup in Res Hab. He is more comfortable with fewer people living in one house and it is awesome that all three boys are of similar age and ability.

I am confident in the staff and appreciate the thought and care that goes into his service plan. Our son has not always been an easy person to care for and through it all the Tomorrow's Hope team has persevered.

My husband and I really appreciate all you guys do! Keep up the good work!

My son has been with Tomorrow's Hope for the past 20 years! He has not been an easy resident to serve as he is profoundly deaf and has limited communication abilities due to his severe autism. The staff have been INCREDIBLY COMPASSIONATE, attentive and WELL TRAINED to deal with his safety needs. They have gone far and above the call of duty to make sure that his preferences are observed and that his many needs are consistently met.

My son continues to THRIVE under the care and supervision of the Tomorrow's Hope team.

My family and I have been so grateful for the careful consideration of his many needs for safety and medical appointments to minimize his self-harming and occasionally aggressive behaviors when he is not able to communicate what is wrong. Our quality of life has greatly increased as his needs are consistently met in his “home away from home” environment.

When I bring him home for special occasions, I have no less than 12 alarms on my phone to remind me of the medication he takes each day. The staff manage not only the needs of my son, but also the needs of his housemates. I continue to stand in awe of the caring individuals who monitor all the things needed to have a safe place to function.

I would highly recommend Tomorrow's Hope for any family needing assistance with their person with developmental disabilities.
